Where the uncertainty lives
The largest σ contribution in this category is av hire — embodied share (led wall + sound rig) at ± 205 kgCO₂e (22.6% σ). It carries most of the band because the embodied-emissions factor for hired AV kit is amortised over a 1/7 lifetime share — DEFRA's pedigree on composite electronics is wide, and the lifetime assumption itself carries factor-σ that activity data cannot tighten. Reduction levers that move this line (booth materials reuse pool) will tighten the band the most.
