How the tenant sends 12 months of data

Mock of /engage/[token]/share — SupplierOAuthPicker + BillUploadZone

The two paths

Two ways to share — either's fine. The OAuth path is faster (12 months pulled automatically); the upload path is a clean fallback for tenants whose supplier isn't in the picker or who prefer not to grant API access.

Share your last 3 bills

Two ways — either's fine. Whichever's easier for your setup.

1. Connect your supplier (fastest)

OAuth

Octopus Energy for Business

One-click OAuth · 12 months of half-hourly data

OAuth

British Gas Business

One-click OAuth · billing history + tariff

OAuth

EDF Energy Business

One-click OAuth · billing history

My supplier isn't here — upload my bills instead

2. Or upload your bills

What happens on click

Path A · Supplier OAuth

Opens the supplier's own consent popup → returns a read-only token → we pull 12 months of billing data via their API. Payload POSTs to /share/oauth and the tenant lands on the done/audit page.

Path B · PDF upload

Files POST to /share/upload; we parse them via the bill parser; the tenant gets a confirmed preview before submitting. Target fallback rate ≤ 30%.

Why three suppliers, not five

The real picker shows five UK utilities (Octopus, BG Business, EDF, E.ON, SSE). For this walkthrough we show the three Pawston Cat Foods would actually pick from — Octopus is the easiest to demo, BG Business and EDF mirror the dual contract on the audit page.

48-hour SLA begins on submit.
